Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily production activities including machine start-up staff allocation and production line efficiency
- Monitor production performance record hourly output and address underperformance with operators and planning team
- Ensure timely reporting of machine breakdowns production issues and workflow updates
- Manage attendance registers leave submissions and daily documentation such as delivery notes and requisitions
- Maintain housekeeping standards ensuring a clean safe and organised working environment
- Enforce discipline on the production floor including punctuality workforce control and adherence to company policies
- Collaborate with planning quality and maintenance teams to ensure production targets and quality standards are met
- Oversee quality control processes identify defects and ensure corrective actions are taken
MinimumRequirements
- Qualification: Grade 12 / Matric certificate or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of 23 years experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Skills:
- Working knowledge of factory machinery and processes
- Experience in production coordination and documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
