Job Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled Systems Integration Developer to join its ICT team in Stellenbosch. This hybrid fixed-term opportunity is ideal for a developer with strong systems integration experience who enjoys designing developing and maintaining enterprise integration solutions that support critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise integration solutions across core business systems.
Develop and maintain integration services and messaging solutions.
Perform integration testing and ensure reliable system performance.
Monitor support and maintain production integration environments.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand integration requirements.
Maintain integration documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Degree or formal certification in ICT Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum 3 years experience in messaging systems analysis and integration design.
Experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies.
Strong knowledge of SOA architecture and integration design principles.
Proficiency in C# .NET and web services.
Experience with HTTP/S SOAP REST XML JSON and FTP/SFTP.
Strong troubleshooting debugging and application maintenance skills.
Understanding of system development methodologies and best practices.
Experience with healthcare information systems HL7 FHIR or InterSystems IRIS will be advantageous.
