Systems Integration Developer

Our client is seeking a skilled Systems Integration Developer to join its ICT team in Stellenbosch. This hybrid fixed-term opportunity is ideal for a developer with strong systems integration experience who enjoys designing developing and maintaining enterprise integration solutions that support critical business systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise integration solutions across core business systems.
• Develop and maintain integration services and messaging solutions.
• Perform integration testing and ensure reliable system performance.
• Monitor support and maintain production integration environments.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand integration requirements.
• Maintain integration documentation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree or formal certification in ICT Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in messaging systems analysis and integration design.
• Experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technologies.
• Strong knowledge of SOA architecture and integration design principles.
• Proficiency in C# .NET and web services.
• Experience with HTTP/S SOAP REST XML JSON and FTP/SFTP.
• Strong troubleshooting debugging and application maintenance skills.
• Understanding of system development methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with healthcare information systems HL7 FHIR or InterSystems IRIS will be advantageous.
