AbouttheOpportunity

The ideal candidate will have experience with Decipher or a similar survey programming platform combined with strong technical skills in JavaScript HTML/CSS and Python. You should be comfortable working independently solving programming and logic challenges and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Review questionnaires and understand the overall objectives of each research project.
• Program online surveys using Decipher or a similar platform.
• Build and test complex routing logic and quota requirements.
• Produce user-friendly and visually appealing survey links.
• Troubleshoot and resolve survey programming issues.
• Manage projects from initial programming through to final data delivery.
• Work closely with Project Managers and researchers to understand requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Communicate technical limitations or alternative solutions when required.
• Occasionally communicate directly with international clients.
• Manage your own workload and prioritise multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal teams and researchers to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

• Previous experience in Survey Programming / Market Research Programming.
• Experience using Decipher or a similar online survey programming platform.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript HTML/CSS and Python.
• Experience with questionnaire programming routing logic and quotas.
• Some knowledge of Unix.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Comfortable participating in meetings and communicating with colleagues and clients in English.
• Self-motivated organised and able to manage multiple projects.
• Collaborative and inquisitive approach to problem-solving.
