Supply Planning Manager

As our Supply Planning Manager you will play a pivotal role in leading the end-to-end supply planning function across the business. You will develop and execute integrated supply plans that effectively balance customer demand production capacity inventory optimisation and procurement requirements. By collaborating closely with cross-functional teams you will ensure product availability maximise operational efficiency minimise supply chain risks and support the achievement of our strategic business objectives.

• Manage the end-to-end supply planning process for imported raw materials to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain long- and short-term supply plans aligned with business demand and operational requirements.
• Ensure imported raw materials are available On Time In Full (OTIF) to support production.
• Optimise inventory levels to achieve working capital objectives while maintaining material availability.
• Monitor supplier performance lead times and delivery schedules to ensure reliable supply.
• Manage import schedules and coordinate inbound material flows from Europe and China.
• Identify assess and mitigate supply chain risks to minimise operational disruptions.
• Participate in the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align supply with demand.
• Collaborate with Procurement Manufacturing Logistics Finance and Demand Planning teams to support business objectives.
• Facilitate supplier performance reviews and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Communicate supply constraints risks and opportunities to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and present regular supply planning inventory and performance reports.
• Recommend inventory policies safety stock levels and supply prioritisation strategies.
• Identify opportunities to improve working capital inventory management and overall supply chain performance.
• Ensure compliance with company Safety Health Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• BCom in Supply Chain or Logistics Honours APICS CPIM or APICS CSCP
• 5 to 8 years experience planning imported raw materials.
• Strong distribution imports logistics and procurement background
• Advanced Supply Planning and Inventory Management
• S&OP and Demand Planning knowledge
• Strong understanding of international imports and logistics
• Knowledge of shipping customs and Incoterms
• Supplier relationship management
• ERP/MRP system proficiency
• Advanced Excel and reporting capability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Financial acumen and working capital management
• Project and stakeholder management
