About the Role

As our Supply Chain Coordinator you will be at the heart of our logistics operations responsible for monitoring and reconciling inbound and outbound pallets managing customer orders end-to-end and ensuring seamless supply chain administration. You will oversee the full process from dispatch through to de-hire of pallets handle customer queries efficiently and drive continuous improvement across pallet recovery processes.

This role carries an indirect financial responsibility of approximately R5 million ZAR making accuracy accountability and attention to detail absolutely critical.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Managing all administrative functions related to CHEP Pallet Recovery nationally

  • Conducting weekly and monthly pallet reconciliations with zero pallet losses

  • Processing and managing customer orders on SAP within required timeframes

  • Scheduling and directing daily Load Plans to relevant departments and distribution centres

  • Following up on customer orders daily from order to delivery

  • Preparing delivery and shipping documentation

  • Producing weekly and monthly reports on pallets in trade and order status

  • Resolving customer complaints and service delivery issues promptly and professionally

  • Liaising with 3PL Warehouses Hauliers Finance Commercial and Operations teams

What You Bring

  • Matric Certificate (essential)

  • Logistics Management Certification (advantageous)

  • CHEP Certification (advantageous)

  • 5 years experience in a similar supply chain environment

  • 3 years experience working on CHEP Portfolio Plus (added advantage)

  • Solid SAP experience

  • Experience in Order Desk and Order Management

  • Knowledge of CHEP agreements (THANs and PCN) and pallet management

  • Valid drivers licence

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong communication customer service and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
