Structures Resident Engineer For N3 Mariannhill Toll Plaza to Key Ridge

The RE will be responsible for the following elements of the construction works under his/her responsibility but is not limited to the following:

Contract Administration acting as Resident Engineer for this project;

Reviewing the construction drawings and managing the processes of dealing with Contractor queries by liaising with the designers through the required communication lines;

Inspection of the works and test results for quality control;

Preparing and updating estimates to completion;

Maintaining records of site administration and communication in terms SMECs quality management system and Construction Manual;

Attending and contributing to taking minutes at technical and site meetings;

Maintaining monthly progress reports;

Liaison with clients and contractors;

Managing resources for site supervision;

Monitoring of quality of works;

Monitoring of programme and contract budgets;

Handling claims;

Preparation of variation orders;

Participate in stakeholder engagement

Closing out projects including compiling completion/closeout reports; and Monitoring of Environmental Management Programs
