Structural Engineer Windhoek, Namibia

Our client is seeking a skilled Structural/Civil Engineer to join their Windhoek team and contribute to a diverse portfolio spanning residential commercial hospitality and industrial projects. With current work focused on Green Hydrogen and hospitality developments this role offers exposure to innovative and technically challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and manage structural engineering designs.
• Assist senior engineers with the management of engineering teams.
• Collaborate with architects contractors and project managers.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct site visits and inspections.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality requirements.

Requirements

• . or in Structural Engineering.
• 35 years structural engineering experience.
• Strong experience with concrete and structural steel.
• Civil engineering experience will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Prokon AutoCAD and Revit.
• Revit experience will be advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of building codes standards and construction practices.
• Strong problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated able to work independently and comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Must be Namibian Citizen
