Structural Engineer (PrEng)

Requirements:

• BEng/BSc Degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional registration as a PrEng with ECSA (Non-negotiable)
• 810 years post-graduate structural engineering design experience within a consulting engineering environment
• Extensive experience in the design of reinforced concrete structural steel and masonry structures
• Strong knowledge of GCC JBCC NEC3 and PROCSA contracts
• Proven contract administration and project management experience
• Experience compiling reports throughout all project phases from feasibility through to project close-out
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Prokon and Revit
• Excellent leadership communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and lead a design team

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage structural engineering design projects from concept through to completion
• Design and analyse structural systems for buildings and infrastructure projects
• Prepare engineering reports technical documentation and tender documentation including specifications and bills of quantities
• Manage contracts payment certificates project claims and contract administration activities
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers technologists and draughting staff
• Review engineering drawings calculations and technical reports to ensure quality and compliance
• Liaise with clients contractors architects and multidisciplinary project teams
• Attend project and site meetings while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Support business development activities and maintain strong client relationships
