Thats why our client isnt just looking for someone to manage inventory theyre looking for someone who can keep an operation moving.
Our client is a leading mining conglomerate where operational excellence starts long before equipment reaches the mine. Theyre looking for an experienced Stores & Inventory Manager to take ownership of the stores function ensuring inventory is accurately controlled budgets are managed and materials are available when the business needs them. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity leading a team and making operational improvements that have a real impact on production.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage stores and inventory function
- Control stock levels consumables and inventory accuracy
- Oversee purchasing receiving and issuing of stock
- Manage goods receipts and stock movements
- Drive inventory planning and budget control
- Monitor stock variances and improve inventory processes
- Lead and develop the stores team
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and inventory controls
- Relevant Tertiary qualification preferred
- 5 to 10 years experience in a similar role
- Mining industry experience is essential
- Proven management and leadership experience
- Sage experience
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Able to work in a fast-paced operational environment
