• Receiving and Inspecting Goods: Unload deliveries check items against packing slips or invoices and inspect for damages or missing parts.
• Inventory Control and Record Keeping: Update computerized inventory management systems log incoming/outgoing stock and track serial numbers for tools or equipment.
• Stock Management: Organize items on shelves rotate stock (older items first) and conduct regular cycle counts or monthly stock take.
• Order Picking and Dispatching: Pick pack and stage items accurately for internal departments or external customers.
• Stock Reordering: Monitor low stock thresholds and communicate with procurement or management to replenish supplies.
• Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean secure and organized storage environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

Minimum requirements

• Matric or equivalent
• Certificate in Stores logistics or supply chain
• Basic computer knowledge
• 2-3 years experience in FMCG
