Store Controller

A well-established company in the passenger transport industry is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Store Controller to oversee all store operations ensuring accurate inventory control efficient stock handling and compliance with company procedures.

• Manage stock control including receiving issuing transfers returns and stock reconciliations.

• Obtain quotes place orders and maintain adequate stock levels for operational requirements.

• Verify incoming goods conduct quality and quantity checks and ensure proper storage practices.

• Capture all stock transactions accurately and maintain complete stock documentation and reports.

• Ensure compliance with company policies audit requirements and health & safety standards.

• Support operations by maintaining stock availability and assisting with inventory planning.

• 35 years experience in stores inventory or stock control.

• Experience within a fleet workshop logistics or similar operational environment.

• Sage Inventory experience will be advantageous.

• Strong numerical analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and computerized stock management systems.

• Able to work under pressure with a high level of accountability integrity and willingness to work overtime during stock counts and audits.
