Job Summary
Our client based in Port Alfred is seeking to employ a Stock Controller / Procurement Administrator to join their team.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an administrative and stock control environment.
- Experience in inventory stores management and workflow management.
- Procurement invoicing and contractor administration.
- Computer literate proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel Word and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling organisational information.
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support while maintaining accurate stock records and effective inventory control.
- Maintain departmental records reports filing systems and administrative documentation.
- Coordinate procurement documentation including obtaining quotations and prepare purchase orders and monitoring deliveries.
- Receive issue and monitor stock and assist with scheduled stock counts and inventory reconciliations.
- Assist with budget monitoring by capturing and reconciling expenditure and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers to support the efficient operation of the department.
- Support compliance with organisational policies health and safety requirements and administrative procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of organisational information and documents.
