Job Summary
Our client in the telecommunications sector is looking for a Legal Specialist on a contract duration of 12 months.
Key accountabilities and responsibilities:
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role must have:
Core competencies knowledge and experience:
- Support the internal legal team;
- Day-to-day responsibility for providing accurate effective and timely legal advice analysis and support on commercial and contractual matters with a specific focus on property lease and site sharing negotiations renewals and dispute;
- Drafting legal agreements as required;
- Research and drafting legal opinions;
- Keep business stakeholders updated and briefed on major negotiations disputes and/or changes in property law in South Africa that impact the company;
- Be an active member of the legal team;
- Keep the legal team abreast of legal matters and write reports to them from time to time.
Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role must have:
- Minimum LLB Degree
- Completed articles with no PQE
- PQE of no more than 2 years
