START DATE: 01 October 2026 / ASAP (*6-Month Contract)

REPORT TO: Assistant Spa Manager / Spa Manager

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Monday Sunday
• Shifts: 08:00am - 17:00pm / 10:00am - 19:00pm
• 06:00am - 15:00pm (once per month only)
• 1x Weekend off per month days off in the week
• Hospitality Sector - includes all major public Holidays

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. South African citizen OR valid working permit for employment in SA (we do not offer permits)
2. DIPLOMA achieved Beauty Specialist / Health & Skin Care / Beauty Therapy / Somatology / Cosmetology
3. International accreditation from ITEC / SAAHSP / CIBTAC / CIDESCO
4. Reliable transport within the Southern Suburbs or be based within greater Constantia region
5. Professionally groomed - 5-star appearance - looking the part
6. Prior experience working in a Hotel-Spa / Cruise Ship / Luxury Salon or Day Spa
7. Ability to perform a Spa Treatment when operationally required (whilst not commonly required you must be confident to assist if need be)
8. Must be committed for the full duration of the fixed term contract.

JOB SUMMARY:

Our Client is seeking a proactive guest-focused Spa Facilities Coordinator to oversee the daily operation presentation and maintenance of its luxury spa facilities including the thermal suite outdoor gardens hydro facilities and relaxation areas.

The successful candidate will ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness safety and comfort while actively promoting spa treatments packages and retail products to support revenue growth.

KEY DUTIES:

• Guest Experience: Ensure all spa facilities are beautifully presented fully operational and guest-ready creating a tranquil and luxurious environment. Escort guests and coordinate their use of the facilities throughout their visit.
• Facilities Management: Oversee the daily upkeep of the thermal suite hydro facilities swimming pools outdoor gardens and relaxation areas ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness comfort and safety.
• Sales & Revenue Generation: Proactively engage with guests in poolside and outdoor areas to recommend and upsell spa treatments packages and retail products working closely with reception to maximise bookings and revenue.
• Operational Coordination: Conduct daily facility inspections identify maintenance or housekeeping requirements and liaise with the relevant departments to ensure prompt resolution.
• Guest Flow Management: Monitor facility usage and coordinate guest access to prevent overcrowding and maintain a seamless relaxing spa experience.
• Health & Safety: Ensure all facilities comply with relevant health safety and hygiene standards proactively identifying and addressing potential risks.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Spa Manager therapists reception housekeeping and maintenance teams to maintain operational excellence and continuously improve guest satisfaction.
• Sustainability: Promote responsible water and energy consumption and support environmentally conscious practices throughout the spa and garden facilities.
