Solutions Architect (Expert) Treasury Risk & Funding

Location: Menlyn Pretoria
Working model: Hybrid 2 days per week in the office
Contract: 3 years renewable
Eligibility: South African citizens and valid work permit holders only

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect with deep knowledge of Treasury Management Systems financial risk and funding processes.

This role requires someone who can bridge the gap between complex treasury requirements and technologydesigning reliable solutions that support transaction processing valuation risk management compliance and operational control.

Key Responsibilities

• Define functional requirements and solution designs for Wallstreet Suite
• Support the implementation integration and operational readiness of Treasury Management Systems
• Design solutions supporting foreign exchange commodity and interest-rate risk
• Coordinate integrations with banks payment platforms and market-data providers
• Ensure accurate transaction capture valuation processing and reporting
• Lead system testing cut-over planning and production readiness
• Manage vendor-to-internal system transitions and knowledge transfer
• Work closely with Treasury Finance Risk IT teams and external vendors
• Ensure solutions meet governance security compliance and audit requirements
• Troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues across the treasury landscape

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years Treasury experience within a corporate or consulting environment
• Strong hands-on experience with Wallstreet Suite or a comparable Treasury Management System
• In-depth understanding of FX commodities derivatives valuation and financial risk
• Experience translating Treasury business requirements into functional and technical solutions
• Strong systems implementation and integration experience
• Experience managing complex stakeholders and external vendors
• Strong understanding of financial controls compliance and operational processes
• Relevant university degree or comparable qualification
• Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving skills
