Solution Architect

Our client is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to play a pivotal role across new business pursuits solution design and project delivery. This high-impact position will bridge pre-sales and technical delivery ensuring solutions are scalable commercially viable technically sound and aligned with client requirements.

Requirements:

• 6 years IT experience with at least 3 years in Solution Architecture or Technical Leadership.
• 2 years delivering Business Processing solutions and digital transformation of traditional document-driven processes.
• Financial Services and/or Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience working with regional or global teams.
• Demonstrated involvement in multi-million-Rand tender wins.
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Experience with ERP and CRM platforms and enterprise business processes.
• Experience planning and scoping moderately complex projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to develop solutions despite incomplete or evolving requirements.
• Confident leadership style with strong initiative and accountability.

Technical Requirements

• Cloud architecture experience across AWS Azure and/or GCP.
• Enterprise architecture microservices and integration patterns.
• REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• API management platforms such as Kong Apigee or MuleSoft.
• Java/Spring Core and/or exposure.
• SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Kafka RabbitMQ Flink or comparable event-streaming technologies.
• Enterprise security architecture and standards.
• OAuth2 OpenID Connect and SAML.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001 SOC 2 and GDPR.
• Document and imaging technologies and digital document-processing solutions.
• Lucidchart Visio or .
• Advanced Microsoft Excel PowerPoint Project and Visio skills.
