Job Summary
Introduction
Our client seeks to appoint an experienced and passionate Software Tester to join their vibrant team. As a Software Tester you will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects.
Responsibilities Include:
- Analyse use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
- Collaborate closely with other team members including developers
- Execute all levels of testing (functional user integration regression domain stress and scenario testing) depending on the software being tested
- Assist with UAT testing and training of users
- Detect submit and test bugs
- Create and maintain documentation of test plans reports and strategies (where necessary) to ensure the highest quality standards are achieved
- Analyse test results to advise stakeholders on the current state of the system and potential corrective action
- Test Automation
- Test in different environments including web and mobile
- Analyse logs and investigate the causes of failures of the live system
- Responsible for the release of the software to production environment
Must have Relevant Software Testing Certifications / Degree / Diploma with 3 years of experience as a Software Tester or similar role an appetite to learn new technologies / processes enjoy being part of a team. Experience in the FMCG market will be an advantage as will experience in automation testing . You will need to have a good understanding of Databases and SQL and exposure to API testing tools such as Postman.
