What You Bring:

• Youre a strong technical leader with a passion for building both products and people:
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Engineering Team Lead
• Solid expertise in PHP Symfony (or similar) and modern software architecture
• Strong understanding of microservices domain-driven design and scalable system design
• Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in Git-based version control (GitHub GitLab etc.)
• Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivery and quality

• Own the delivery of key products and features ensuring quality scalability and reliability
• Guide the team in building robust modern systems using microservices architecture and best engineering practices
• Drive continuous improvement by refining development processes and introducing efficiencies

Reference Number for this position is GZ61484 which is a permanent Hybrid position based in Observatory Cape Town offering a salary of R1.2m per annum negotiable based on experience and ability.
