Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join the Port Elizabeth team on a 6 month contract
- Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site
- Ensure all work is carried out according to project plans specifications and safety standards
- Manage and oversee site workers subcontractors and suppliers
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality
- Enforce health and safety regulations at all times
- Report on progress delays and any issues to management
- Ensure proper use and control of materials equipment and tools
- Resolve onsite challenges efficiently and professionally
- Maintain accurate site records including attendance and material usage
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Qualification in Construction Management or a related field (advantageous)
- Health and Safety certification
- First Aid certification (advantageous)
- Valid drivers license (essential)
- Proven experience in the construction industry
- Previous experience supervising teams on-site
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret building plans and drawings
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Required Skills:
