Job Summary
A Shunter Driver in the bus environment is responsible for safely moving buses within depots or terminals. They play a crucial role
in ensuring the efficient operation of bus fleets by positioning vehicles ready for service or maintenance. This role requires a keen
understanding of safety protocols good spatial awareness and proficiency in operating various types of buses.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Moves busses on company premises and between sections for maintenance activities.
- Road test buses as and when required by Artisans and workshop supervisors.
- Parks buses in stipulated areas.
- Drives buses through bus wash machines.
- Drives vehicles onto and off pits.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to vehicle operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Qualification Required Grade 12/Matric
- Valid Code 14 Drivers Licence with a Valid PDP
