Job Description:
As a Service Desk Agent you will be the first point of contact for IT-related incidents and service requests ensuring users receive professional and efficient support. You will manage support tickets troubleshoot common technical issues and work closely with internal teams and external service providers to keep operations running smoothly. Every day will involve helping users maintaining accurate records and ensuring all requests are resolved within agreed service levels while delivering a first-class customer experience.
Skills & Experience:
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (written and spoken)
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer literacy including Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving approach
- Reliable trustworthy and professional
- Experience logging and managing service desk tickets advantageous
- Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors
Qualification:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Relevant IT qualification or certification
- Previous customer service helpdesk or service desk experience beneficial
- Experience within an IT support environment advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
