SeniorLead Automation Tester

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading data center for an experienced Senior/Lead Automation Tester to join their Software Engineering team.

This is a hands-on technical role with genuine leadership responsibility. You will own your deliverables drive quality standards across the team mentor junior testers and work closely with developers and stakeholders in an Agile/DevOps environment.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing scope objectives and robust test strategies
  
• Design build and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using Playwright
  
• Perform functional integration regression and API testing
  
• Log track and reproduce defects using Jira or Azure DevOps
  
• Work with databases and CI/CD pipelines to validate backend data integrity and support continuous deployment
  
• Guide and mentor junior testers review test scripts and drive continuous quality improvement
  
• Introduce and streamline testing processes in collaboration with the development team
  
• Provide clear reporting and communicate effectively with senior management
  

Experience with Azure; AWS experience considered acceptable

• Manual testing ability for certain tasks (automation remains the main focus)
  
• Experience with MS SQL Server and data access methods SQL and database technologies (MS SQL PostgreSQL MySQL) including Stored Procedures
  
• Strong experience working within Agile/Scrum and DevOps delivery cycles
  
• Experience logging tracking and reproducing defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
  
• Good written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with senior management write emails and translate user requirements
  
• Ability to introduce adopt and streamline testing processes while coordinating effectively with the software development team
