Senior Systems Developer

DLK Group is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Systems Developer to support the development enhancement and maintenance of critical healthcare business applications for our client based in East London Eastern Cape.

We are looking for a proactive solutions-driven professional with strong technical expertise excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and IT teams. The ideal candidate will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers while contributing to the digital transformation and operational efficiency of healthcare services.

Technical Requirements

• LAMP Stack Development: Linux Apache MySQL PHP

• SQL: Structured Query Language including complex queries

• Data Analysis using tools such as Microsoft Power BI
  
• Development of customised web-based reports and dashboards
  
• Azure Virtual Server Design and Administration

• Sound knowledge of the South African Health Normative Standard Framework and underlying profiles and technologies

• Degree/National Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology
  
• 10 years of working experience in information systems design and development

• Experience in application configuration maintenance and support: 10 years
  
• Systems integrations: 5 years
  
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript XML PHP): 10 years
  
• Experience with responsive web design and accessibility standards: 10 years
  
• Knowledge of backend technologies (APIs database management using SQL databases): 10 years
  
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure Amazon): 5 years
  
• Expertise in handling and processing large datasets: 10 years
  
• Experience with data integration tools and technologies (ETL data warehousing data analytics frameworks): 10 years
  
• Strong understanding of security best practices (data encryption secure coding authentication authorisation compliance with ICT regulations): 10 years
  
• Strong debugging skills and familiarity with debugging tools: 10 years
  
• Understanding of healthcare data standards (HL7 FHIR): 3 years
