Duties & Responsibilities
Job Position: Senior Structural Timber Designer
Ref: 5241
Location: PE/Gqeberha
Salary: Commensurate with qualification and experience
Qualifications / Requirements:
- 5 years experience in the timber structural design
- Advanced experience with design software such as ITS MiTek Multinail or Pamir
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles timber engineering and building regulations
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills
Key Performance Areas:
- Design and optimise complex timber structural systems
- Perform load calculations and structural analysis
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications
- Prepare detailed manufacturing documentation and layouts
- Provide technical support to production sales clients and project teams
- Assist with project delivery from concept through to installation
