Our client in the industrial and manufacturing services industry is seeking to employ and experienced Senior Field Service Technicians to join their dynamic team based in Port Elizabeth.
This opportunity is ideally suited to technically skilled individuals with strong electrical mechanical and field service experience who are passionate about delivering high-quality installations maintenance repairs and customer service within demanding industrial environments.

Requirements:
Site Assessment and Preparation
- Grade 12 (with Mathematics and English) or equivalent
- Technical Trade Certificate
- Additional trade qualification advantageous.
- Valid South African Drivers License
- Valid Forklift License
- Working at Heights certification
- Risk Assessment qualification
- First Aid Level 1
- Scaffolding erection and inspection advantageous
- Welding experience (qualification advantageous)
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Junior Field Technician
- 3 years experience in a technical electrical or industrial environment
Site Assessment and Preparation
- Conduct site inspections and assess installation readiness
- Take accurate measurements and determine equipment requirements
- Compile installation packs with tools parts and accessories
- Ensure all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements are met
- Complete site-specific risk assessments
- Perform accurate and efficient installations of equipment
- Ensure installations are completed on time and within budget
- Take full responsibility for installation quality and execution
- Provide feedback on performance and operational challenges
- Conduct fault-finding and breakdown repairs on-site
- Perform maintenance and servicing of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Ensure first-time fix and minimise repeat call-outs
- Maintain high installation and service quality standards
- Ensure proper commissioning and handover to clients
- Provide all required documentation (manuals certificates warranties)
- Maintain full technical knowledge of all products
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained and accounted for
- Conduct regular vehicle and tool inspections
- Maintain a clean safe and organised working environment
- Ensure full compliance with PPE and safety requirements
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- Represent the company professionally on-site
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Assist team members when required
- Lead by example and promote teamwork
