My Client in Cape Town CBD is urgently looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer with deep React expertise to lead the design and delivery of high-quality scalable user interfaces
- Lead frontend architecture decisions champion best practices and drive consistency in patterns tooling and code quality.
- Design and deliver complex scalable userfacing features breaking down large problems into maintainable components.
- Architect reliable client/server state management solutions define caching and realtime update patterns and collaborate effectively on API design.
- Uphold high-quality engineering by setting testing standards strengthening CI/CD and improving observability and debugging.
- Optimise performance across rendering bundle size and Core Web Vitals while ensuring strong accessibility and proactive improvements.
- Build scalable UI systems evolve shared design systems and maintain consistency across components flows and user experiences.
- Lead incident triage deep debugging and rootcause analysis to improve reliability and resilience.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years front end experience
- Advanced React experience
- Strong JavaScript and TypeScript
- Cloud exposure
