Job Summary
Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional with a passion for garment quality fit technical excellence and supplier performance Our client a leading apparel retailer is seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance Manager to lead their QA function and drive world-class quality standards across multiple product categories.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a strategic role in ensuring product excellence from development through to retail while leading continuous improvement initiatives across suppliers and internal teams.
- Lead and approve all fit seal and technical garment approval processes across knit and woven product categories.
- Evaluate garment fit on models and mannequins to ensure consistency with brand standards.
- Approve grading specifications and verify grade rules across full size curves.
- Develop implement and maintain quality assurance standards processes and best practices.
- Conduct supplier audits including inline final and random inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Investigate quality concerns through root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Provide technical expertise to resolve garment construction fit and production-related issues.
- Monitor supplier performance through quality scorecards audit results and compliance tracking.
- Produce insightful QA reports dashboards and trend analyses using advanced Excel.
- Oversee quality performance within distribution centres and retail including customer returns and product complaints.
- Present monthly quality performance reports with recommendations to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead coach and develop the Quality Assurance team to achieve operational excellence.
- Degree or Diploma in Clothing Production Fashion Textile Technology or a related qualification.
- 58 years experience within garment quality assurance technical production or manufacturing environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of garment construction pattern making and grading across knit and woven apparel.
- Proven experience working with multiple product categories and supplier networks.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyse data and produce management reports.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
