Senior QS Construction Industry

RPO Recruitments client a well-established Building & Civil Contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their Cape Town team on one of their latest projects as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage project budgets and cost reports.
• Monitor project costs and ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare interim valuations payment certificates and final accounts.
• Manage subcontractor procurement adjudication appointments and payment certificates.
• Price and manage variation orders and contract claims.
• Assist with forecasting cash flow projections and commercial reporting.
• Liaise with project teams subcontractors suppliers and clients.
• Ensure commercial compliance with contract requirements and company procedures.

Requirements:

• National Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 10 years Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of project cost control commercial management and subcontractor administration.
• Experience with valuations variation orders payment certificates and final accounts.
• Valid drivers licence (essential).
• Excellent communication negotiation and organisational skills.
