Senior Project Manager – SMEIP

A leading engineering and construction organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager SMEIP to lead the successful delivery of multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects within the mining and heavy industrial sectors.

• Lead the planning execution and successful delivery of SMEIP projects.
• Manage project scope schedules budgets resources and project risks.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
• Ensure compliance with contractual statutory client and SHEQ requirements.
• Manage subcontractors suppliers and overall commercial performance.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Drive projects through commissioning completion and final handover.
• Deliver projects safely on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.

• Bachelors Degree or BTech in Mechanical Electrical Structural or a related Engineering discipline.
• Professional registration as a (SACPCMP) is essential.
• ECSA registration (Pr. Eng. or Pr. Tech. Eng.) will be advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years engineering and construction experience.
• At least 7 years experience managing SMEIP projects.
• Proven experience delivering Structural Mechanical Electrical Instrumentation and Piping projects.
• Strong commercial contractual planning and cost management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6.
• Valid drivers licence.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on remote project sites.

You are an experienced Project Manager with a strong engineering background and a successful track record of delivering complex multidisciplinary engineering and construction projects. You possess excellent leadership commercial and stakeholder management skills and are passionate about delivering safe high-quality projects in demanding environments.
