Senior Project Manager

Our client is a leading organisation within the South African financial services sector recognised for delivering innovative solutions in a highly regulated environment.

They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale business transformation and integration programme. This role requires a seasoned professional who has successfully delivered complex enterprise-wide initiatives involving multiple stakeholders organisational change governance and cross-functional programme delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning execution and delivery of a complex business transformation and integration programme.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans timelines budgets risks dependencies and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate multiple cross-functional workstreams to ensure successful programme delivery.
• Drive business integration initiatives while maintaining operational continuity.
• Establish and maintain effective programme governance reporting and executive communication.
• Engage and influence senior leadership business stakeholders and project sponsors throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Identify manage and mitigate programme risks issues and interdependencies.
• Support organisational change initiatives to facilitate successful business transition.
• Monitor programme performance and ensure delivery against agreed objectives timelines and quality standards.

Minimum Requirements

• 812 years experience in Project or Programme Management.
• Proven experience leading large-scale business transformation integration or organisational change programmes.
• Demonstrated success managing complex enterprise-wide initiatives across multiple business functions.
• Strong project governance risk management and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience engaging with executive leadership and senior decision-makers.
• Excellent planning communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to operate effectively within complex fast-paced corporate environments.
• A recognised Project Management qualification or certification (PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent) will be advantageous.
• Previous experience within financial services insurance or another highly regulated industry will be advantageous.
