Team Overview

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

• Day to Day Youll:

  • Contribute to adoption of the CIS Portfolio management Change and Governance frameworks tools and processes to ensure adherence to change standards and methods

  • Proactively monitor projects against TCQ expectations providing an early warning of any variances and exceptions to the portfolios

  • Contribute to the ongoing expansion of the CIS Portfolio Management team providing input to the development of services such as reporting resource management and governance processes

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of CIS Portfolio Management services and processes by identifying and driving continuous improvement to enable effective delivery of the global portfolios.

  • Support the development of the reporting processes for the portfolios adhering to standards and timelines to ensure the provision of reliable and consistent management information.

  • Support the development and management of key reporting such Executive Portfolio Dashboards and portfolio trend analysis.

  • Support the CIS Portfolio Management communications and knowledge management strategy by quality checking templates and reference documents and publishing updates on the SharePoint site

  • Work with the Portfolio Leads and Project Managers to ensure that their project documentation and plans are current relevant and at the required standard

  • Assure the portfolio performance against KPIs and quality metrics providing constructive challenge and ensuring that the programs and projects are aligned with TUs strategic priorities

  • Be seen as a subject matter expert for the GOPMO Program Teams in all areas of governance and assurance

Required Knowledge And Experiences

• Additionally you will be/have:

  • A passionate advocate of the value a professional PMO team can bring to an organisation

  • An outgoing and engaging personality with strong interpersonal skills being able to connect and build relationships with peers

  • Good knowledge of what governance and control processes look like having demonstrable experience of practically applying it. You will be a skilled PMO professional.

  • Experience using a variety of project management and PMO tools

  • Experience using standard MS Office software to a highly competent level (SharePoint MS Teams Excel etc)

  • You will flourish being part of a team have good collaboration skills and understand the value and importance of knowledge sharing.

  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills being able to communicate and influence with clarity and confidence.

  • Strong attention to details and technicalities. You will be thorough and pride yourself in the quality and accuracy of your work.

  • A confident multi-tasker you will thrive in a fast paced environment that offers plenty of variety

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to weed out the important from the noise

  • Experience of working collaboratively across organisational boundaries

  • A lifelong learner with a demonstrable record in professional improvement

• Qualifications and Professional Memberships

  • P30 Practitioner - Desirable

  • Prince2 APM/PMP or other delivery methodology - Desirable

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt - Desirable

A Minimum of a 100 Meg Fibre line is required should you be successful you will need to upgrade your line or install fibre in order to work effectively.

Employment with TransUnion GCC Africa requires that you work from a fibreready home environment that supports confidential and comfortable daytoday work. You may be based anywhere in South Africa with fibre connectivity; however working outside of South Africa is not permitted.
