Port Elizabeth area Eastern Cape province South Africa: Our client is looking for a Senior Packhouse Manager to join the team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

- Relevant tertiary qualification in Operations Management Production or Agriculture (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years experience in a packhouse / production / operations role (citrus).
- Proven experience managing teams
- Strong understanding of food safety cold chain management and HACCP principles
- Excellent leadership organisational and communication skills
- Computer literate (Excel and Outlook)
- Valid drivers license
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Planning and organising staff
- Monitoring and improving productivity
- Quality Management. Understanding of local and internal quality standards
- Maintain good food as well as and health and safety standards in the facility
- Staff management
- Continuous improvement
- Building credible relationships internal and external to the company
- Willing to work irregular hours
