Job Summary
Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer who thrives in a sitebased role This is an exciting opportunity to oversee complex mechanical installations ensuring quality compliance and smooth project delivery across largescale building projects.
Job Description:
- Develop and manage detailed MEP BIM models using Revit
- Lead modelling for HVAC fire protection and wet services systems
- Ensure compliance with BIM standards and execution plans
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks
- Maintain Revit families templates and BIM standards
- Collaborate with engineers architects and contractors on coordination issues
- Prepare coordinated layouts drawings and sections
- Extract quantities and support cost estimation processes
- Review models for constructability accuracy and compliance
- Mentor junior BIM modellers
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 58 years experience in MEP BIM modelling
- Advanced proficiency in Revit AutoCAD and Navisworks
- Strong understanding of HVAC fire protection and wet services systems
- Knowledge of BIM workflows and coordination processes
- Experience on large commercial healthcare or industrial projects
- Exposure to tools such as BIM 360 and Carrier HAP advantageous
- Strong communication coordination and leadership skills
Qualification:
- Diploma or BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (advantageous)
- Grade 12 / N3 (minimum requirement)
