Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop test and maintain scalable high-quality web applications
- Build responsive and user-friendly front-end solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries
- Develop integrate and maintain RESTful APIs and back-end services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers Designers QA Engineers and other Developers
- Translate business requirements into efficient maintainable technical solutions
- Conduct code reviews and promote coding standards best practices and quality assurance
- Troubleshoot debug and resolve complex application issues
- Optimise application performance scalability and security
- Participate in architectural planning and technical design discussions
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and development processes
- Implement automated testing and support CI/CD pipelines
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies frameworks and industry trends
- Ensure solutions are delivered on time and aligned with project objectives
- Document technical designs processes and development standards
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Proven experience designing building and delivering high-quality software solutions in a professional environment
- Strong expertise in either Frontend Development (React) Backend Development (.NET) or across the full technology stack
- Solid understanding of software architecture Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design patterns and SOLID principles
- Experience developing and integrating with RESTful APIs and distributed systems
- Strong focus on writing clean maintainable testable code and implementing effective testing practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex challenges and identify practical solutions
- Experience conducting code reviews and promoting engineering best practices within a team environment
- Knowledge of modern development methodologies including Agile and iterative delivery practices
- Experience working with databases and data-driven applications
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
- A passion for continuous learning innovation and staying up to date with emerging technologies
- Experience building deploying and supporting applications in production environments
- Exposure to highly transactional customer-facing financial fintech gaming or other complex digital platforms would be beneficial
