JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Human Resource Officer will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and professional HR service to the organisation. The role will support management and employees across the full employee lifecycle ensuring effective HR practices sound labour relations compliance with employment legislation and the consistent application of company policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will play a key role in employee engagement performance management recruitment employee relations HR administration and supervisory support while contributing to a positive productive and professional working environment.

The Senior Human Resource Officer will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and professional HR service to the organisation. The role will support management and employees across the full employee lifecycle ensuring effective HR practices sound labour relations compliance with employment legislation and the consistent application of company policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will play a key role in employee engagement performance management recruitment employee relations HR administration and supervisory support while contributing to a positive productive and professional working environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
National Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent
3 years experience in a generalist HR role
3 years experience in Labour Relations
At least 1 years supervisory experience
Knowledge of Sage 300 will be an advantage.
- Manage and coordinate generalist HR functions across the employee lifecycle.
- Provide HR advice and support to management and employees on HR policies procedures and employment matters.
- Manage labour relations including disciplinary and grievance processes absenteeism misconduct and related employee matters.
- Assist with CCMA matters and labour-related processes where required.
- Support recruitment and selection onboarding and employee induction.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Assist with performance management employee development and training initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with relevant labour legislation and company policies.
- Prepare HR reports statistics and other management information as required.
- Supervise and provide guidance to HR staff and/or relevant employees.
- Assist management with workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives.
- Promote a professional workplace culture and support the organisations HR objectives.
