Job Summary
The Senior Graphic Designers primary function is the end-to-end development of high-quality visual communication that supports Fidelity Services Groups brand marketing sales and internal communication objectives. The role is responsible for maintaining the creative quality and consistency of all design output from initial concept development through to final artwork and production.
The incumbent will translate technical fire-safety products services and business information into clear professional and visually engaging communication for both business-to-business and consumer audiences.
Beyond day-to-day design production the role has an evolving mandate to assist the Marketing Manager in
establishing and formalising an internal marketing division. The incumbent will help develop the creative standards systems templates and workflows required to improve the divisions agility and reduce its reliance on external agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic Design & Creative Production
Conceptualise and produce high-quality creative work across corporate marketing sales recruitment and
internal communication requirements.
Design material for print and digital platforms including social media content digital advertising brochures
product sheets presentations proposals billboards signage exhibition material website graphics and internal communication.
Translate technical fire-safety information into clear accessible and visually engaging communication.
Develop campaign concepts creative treatments mood boards and visual mock-ups that respond effectively to marketing briefs.
Prepare accurate production-ready artwork for print digital publishing and external suppliers.
Adapt approved creative work into the correct sizes specifications and formats for different media platforms.
Maintain organised working files and archives of completed artwork templates brand assets and campaign
material.
Quality-control all final artwork for layout spelling technical accuracy and production readiness.
Brand Development & Consistency
Maintain a consistent visual identity and brand tone across all Fidelity Services Group marketing and
communication material.
Ensure that all creative output aligns with Fidelity Services Group brand guidelines.
Collaborate with the Marketing Manager on concept development for campaigns launches events and internal initiatives.
Work with photographers videographers agencies printers and other creative suppliers to ensure that the
approved creative direction is applied correctly.
Review and quality-control creative output produced by junior team members and external suppliers where
applicable.
Identify opportunities to strengthen and modernise Fidelity Services Groups visual identity without
compromising its corporate credibility.
Digital & Motion Design
Develop digital-first creative content for Facebook Instagram LinkedIn YouTube Google and other relevant
platforms.
Design animated social media content digital banners campaign graphics and basic motion assets.
Support video production through the development of storyboards title screens lower thirds transitions
presentation graphics and end frames.
Ensure that creative material is supplied in the correct aspect ratios and technical formats for each digital
platform.
Work closely with videographers and content producers to maintain a consistent visual approach across static and motion-based content.
Team Formalisation & Marketing Support
Evolving Responsibility
Assist the Marketing Manager in formalising an internal marketing division including defining design workflows production standards and creative processes.
Contribute to developing the equipment software templates and resourcing requirements for an in-house
creative capability.
Support the onboarding and mentoring of future graphic design multimedia or junior creative hires as the
division grows.
Help establish briefing templates brand toolkits approval processes and quality-control standards to streamline creative production.
Assist in developing a centralised library of approved brand assets templates imagery and campaign material.
Help reduce unnecessary agency dependency by building a responsive and capable internal design function.
Creative Technology & Tooling
Evolving Responsibility
Evaluate and recommend design software systems and collaboration tools that improve the marketing divisions efficiency and output.
Identify opportunities to apply AI and emerging creative technologies to concept development image creation design adaptation and campaign production.
Support the implementation of digital asset management workflow automation and creative collaboration tools.
Work with the Marketing Manager and IT department to ensure that creative software hardware storage and systems are fit for purpose.
Contribute to the divisions creative technology roadmap as it expands into broader marketing and production capabilities.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
Eight or more years experience in graphic design visual communication or a related creative role including
senior or lead-level responsibility.
A diploma or degree in Graphic Design Visual Communication Multimedia Design or a related field or
equivalent demonstrable experience.
A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of high-quality corporate brand campaign digital and print work.
Experience managing design projects from concept through to final production.
Experience working within or helping to establish an in-house or agency creative function is advantageous.
Experience designing for both business-to-business and consumer audiences.
Experience in the fire-safety security technology corporate services or a similar sector is advantageous but not essential.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign.
Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects Premiere Pro or similar motion-design and video-editing software.
Strong understanding of typography layout colour composition and visual hierarchy.
Advanced knowledge of print production including preparing artwork for commercial and large-format printing.
Sound understanding of digital advertising formats social media specifications and responsive design
requirements.
Experience developing presentations and proposals in PowerPoint or similar platforms.
Familiarity with Figma Canva or other collaborative design tools is advantageous.
Working knowledge of AI-assisted design tools and emerging creative technologies.
Photography videography illustration or three-dimensional design capabilities are advantageous.
