Senior FullStack Developer and QA Lead

This opportunity is suited to a senior software professional who enjoys being hands-on across full stack development quality engineering automated testing DevOps support and technical mentorship.
You will play a critical role in improving software quality strengthening release processes reducing delivery risk and embedding engineering best practices across the development lifecycle.
Working closely with technical leadership and development teams you will contribute to the ongoing enhancement of a sophisticated SaaS platform while driving continuous improvement in testing automation deployment reliability and code quality.
This role offers the opportunity to influence engineering excellence while remaining actively involved in development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA and test engineering initiatives including automated testing regression testing API testing and release readiness practices.
• Design develop test and maintain front-end and back-end components of the SaaS platform.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines deployment processes release validation and operational reliability.
• Conduct code reviews troubleshoot defects improve code quality and reduce technical debt.
• Mentor developers in testing debugging DevOps practices and responsible AI-assisted development.
• Assist with technical planning backlog refinement task breakdown and delivery execution.

Job Experience and Skills Required
Qualification:

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems Engineering Mathematics Statistics or a related technical field preferred.
• Equivalent industry experience will be considered.

Experience:

• 5-8 years of professional software development or software engineering experience.
• Proven full stack development experience across backend frontend APIs and database-driven applications.
• Strong QA and test engineering experience including automated testing regression testing and release readiness.
• Practical DevOps experience involving CI/CD deployments build management and environment troubleshooting.
• Experience mentoring and supporting development teams.

Technical Skills:

• Git GitLab CI/CD pipelines Docker Ansible and secrets management platforms.
• Strong understanding of quality engineering test automation release management and software delivery best practices.
• Experience with Python Django Django REST Framework JavaScript/TypeScript PostgreSQL Linux Redis and cloud-based environments will be advantageous.
• Exposure to GIS PostGIS geospatial technologies SaaS platforms or agricultural technology environments will be beneficial.
• Strong analytical problem-solving leadership and communication skills.
