A leading manufacturing company based in Centurion is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Manager to oversee the financial function and support strategic business decisions.
Job Purpose:
To manage the financial function ensuring accurate reporting strong financial controls compliance budgeting and forecasting while providing strategic financial insight to support business performance and growth

Minimum education (essential):
- BCom Accounting / Finance or equivalent qualification
- CA(SA) preferred
Minimum applicable experience (years):
- 510 years relevant financial management experience
- Experience in a senior financial management role
- Manufacturing industry experience will be highly advantageous
- Senior-level financial management experience
- Financial reporting and management accounting
- Budgeting forecasting and financial planning
- Financial analysis and commercial decision-making
- Management of financial controls and risk
- Experience within a manufacturing or similar operational environment
- Experience managing and developing finance staff
- Based in / able to commute to Centurion
- Own transport and valid drivers licence
- Strong English communication skills

Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management.
- Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Monitor financial results against budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information.
Budgeting Forecasting & Financial
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets and identify variances.
- Provide financial projections to support business planning and decision-making.
- Assist management with financial scenario planning.
Financial Controls Compliance & Risk
- Maintain and strengthen effective financial controls and processes.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards legislation and company policies.
- Identify financial risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
- Oversee internal and external audit processes.
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place to safeguard company assets and financial information.
Commercial & Strategic Support
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
- Analyse business performance and identify opportunities for improved profitability.
- Provide financial input into operational and commercial decisions.
- Analyse costs margins and profitability across the business.
- Support management with financial insights that contribute to business growth and sustainability.
Team Leadership & Process Improvement
- Lead manage and develop the finance team.
- Set clear objectives and monitor team performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
- Drive efficiencies and automation within the finance function where appropriate.
- Foster a culture of accountability accuracy and continuous improvement.
