This role is suited to an experienced accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of the full finance function while supporting strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and financial analysis.
The successful candidate will oversee the month-end close process statutory compliance management reporting audit preparation and the day-to-day accounting addition to maintaining strong financial controls you will mentor junior team members liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities and provide valuable financial insights to senior management.

- Manage the full month-end accounting close process including journals accruals reconciliations and supporting schedules
- Review and oversee the creditors and debtors functions
- Prepare and review VAT PAYE and other statutory submissions
- Liaise with SARS and other regulatory authorities regarding tax and compliance matters
- Manage the year-end audit process including audit schedules and supporting documentation
- Assist management with budgeting forecasting and ad hoc financial reporting
- Bcom
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of VAT PAYE and statutory compliance
