Job Summary
Are you a Senior Electrical Design Engineer with a passion for product development and electrical system integration This opportunity offers the chance to work on complex engineering projects where you will be responsible for developing innovative electrical solutions driving design excellence and delivering high-quality products from concept through to production.
Job Description:
- Design and develop electrical systems for advanced engineering applications
- Create detailed electrical schematics wiring layouts and harness designs
- Develop and maintain 3D electrical models and associated engineering documentation
- Prepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical design data
- Ensure designs comply with customer requirements engineering standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage engineering information within Product Data Management (PDM) systems
- Conduct concept evaluations design reviews and technical assessments
- Collaborate with suppliers manufacturing teams and multidisciplinary engineering departments
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 7 years experience in Electrical Design Engineering
- Strong experience in electrical system design and integration
- Experience developing electrical schematics wiring systems and harness designs
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software; Siemens NX experience will be advantageous
- Experience with electrical schematic design software such as Mentor Graphics Vesys will be advantageous
- Experience working with Product Data Management (PDM) systems
- Strong understanding of electrical components and system integration principles
Qualification:
- BEng or BTech in Electrical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
