About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Designer who brings the strategic clarity visual rigor and judgment of a Creative Lead.

This is not an execution-only design role where layouts are pre-packaged or spoon-fed. You will be expected to take loose high-level briefs or raw business objectives determine the underlying communication goals and independently architect the visual strategy hierarchy and final execution.

As a cornerstone member of the agencys creative team you will elevate the overall quality of creative output act as a trusted creative authority and mentor junior design staff to help scale the agencys capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Design & Creative Direction
  • Interpret High-Level Briefs: Translate vague or incomplete briefs into strategically aligned visually sophisticated design solutions without requiring micro-managed direction.
  • Establish Visual Hierarchy: Structure complex information-heavy content into clean digestible layouts that guide the readers focus effortlessly.
  • Strategic Communication: Ensure all design decisions directly reinforce the clients corporate messaging audience needs and overarching business objectives.
  • Creative Quality Control: Proactively challenge weak design concepts and introduce stronger visual solutions across all agency collateral.
Corporate & Investor Communications
  • Investor-Focused Design: Produce high-end corporate communications (e.g. pitch decks annual reports investor presentations corporate one-pagers) tailored to shareholders and financial analysts.
  • Clarity & Credibility: Balance visual innovation with the restraint professionalism and structure expected by publicly traded companies.
  • Data Visualization: Transform dense numerical or operational information into clean intuitive graphics and charts.
Branding & Identity Systems
  • Brand Development: Create comprehensive visual identity systems logos typography stacks and color palettes for emerging and established brands.
  • Guideline Expansion: Apply and expand existing brand guidelines seamlessly across new mediums and asset types.
Web & Digital Design
  • UI/UX Fundamentals: Conceptualize and design responsive web layouts digital assets and interactive experiences in Figma.
  • Digital Brand Alignment: Ensure digital applications maintain absolute visual parity with print and corporate identity standards.
Print & Editorial Layout
  • Editorial Mastery: Design print collateral corporate whitepapers brochures and multi-page reports with meticulous attention to grid systems and typography.
  • Pre-Press Precision: Prepare flawless production-ready files for commercial print environments.
Leadership & Mentorship
  • Junior Designer Mentorship: Provide ongoing art direction design guidance and constructive feedback to junior design team members (including an existing full-time junior designer).
  • Process Elevation: Assist in refining internal design workflows asset management and quality assurance standards.
Required Qualifications
  • 5 Years of Experience: Proven track record in graphic design visual hierarchy and brand execution within a fast-paced agency or corporate environment.
  • Core Software Mastery: High proficiency with Figma and the Adobe Creative Cloud suite (specifically Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Multi-Disciplinary Design Portfolio: Demonstrated expertise spanning identity/logo design heavy print/editorial layouts and modern web/digital UI design.
  • Independent Problem Solving: Ability to self-direct from brief to execution solving structural and visual challenges independently.
  • English Fluency: Exceptional verbal and written English skills (near-native or native level) for seamless daily collaboration.
  • Remote Work Experience: Self-motivated and disciplined enough to thrive in a fully remote environment during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial & Investor Comms Background: Prior experience designing for publicly listed companies investor relations (IR) corporate communications or capital markets (e.g. mining energy tech or finance sectors).
  • Mentorship Experience: Previous experience managing art directing or formalizing feedback for junior or intermediate designers.
  • Client-Facing Aptitude: Though client interaction is not a primary duty the ability to articulate design rationale clearly to non-design stakeholders is highly valued.
What Success Looks Like
  • Within 30 Days: You seamlessly take ownership of incoming loose briefs eliminating the need for senior leadership to pre-architect layouts or dictate design directions.
  • Within 90 Days: You elevate the visual consistency and standard of all investor materials while actively guiding and mentoring the junior designer.
  • Within 6 Months: You become the agencys go-to creative lead for complex corporate brand packages and web projects serving as a pillar for long-term agency growth.
