Are you a CIMA-qualified Cost Accountant with strong manufacturing experience and a passion for turning numbers into meaningful business insights
Our client is looking for a Senior Cost Accountant to take ownership of the costing function and play a key role in driving financial and operational performance. Minimum Requirements
- CIMA or similar accounting qualification
- 7 - 10 years relevant experience
- Proven Cost Accounting experience within manufacturing essential
- Strong experience in costing inventory and variance analysis
- Experience with budgeting forecasting and FP&A
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and business partnering abilities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full Cost Accounting function
- Manage product costing inventory valuation and manufacturing variances
- Analyse costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
- Develop and maintain product cost models
- Partner with Operations Manufacturing Supply Chain and other key teams
- Support budgeting forecasting and financial planning
- Prepare management reports and provide insights on cost and operational performance
- Drive continuous improvement across costing reporting and financial processes
- Support strategic financial analysis and cost-reduction initiatives
