Senior Audit Manager CA(SA)

Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced deadline-driven Senior Audit Manager for a leading national firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors in Pietermaritzburg. Reporting to executive leadership this leadership role oversees the audit accounting and tax operationsmanaging quality control staff mentorship branch revenue targets and high-level client relationships.

• Audit Execution and Review: Oversee complete audit planning execution and detailed reviews of financial statements working papers and reports produced by junior staff.

• Branch Leadership and Revenue: Develop manage and monitor branch revenue targets budgets work-in-progress (WIP) and timeous fee recoveries.

• Quality Control and Governance: Manage quality control standards across the firm execute technical accounting/tax reviews and sign off reports (if registered as an RA).

• Staff Development and SAICA Mentorship: Mentor coach and supervise trainees and audit staff. Act as a SAICA Assessor / Trainee Officer to guide professional evaluations.

• Client and Business Development: Drive client engagement attend strategic meetings resolve complex technical queries and drive new business development initiatives.

• Education and Credentials: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with a completed BCom degree and SAICA articles. Registered Auditor (RA) status is highly advantageous.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years post-articles experience within an established audit firm including proven supervisory/management experience.

• Technical Skills: Extensive hands-on experience using CaseWare.

• SAICA Accreditation: Must be (or qualify to be) a registered SAICA Assessor / Trainee Officer.

• Key Attributes: Superior attention to detail strong leadership and team-building skills target-driven mindset and the ability to thrive under strict deadline pressure.

• Location: Pietermaritzburg KwaZulu-Natal (Full-Time Onsite).

• Remuneration: Up to R80000 CTC per month (Up to R960K per annum based on experience).

• Target Start Date: ASAP.
