Senior Accountant/Finance Operations Lead Up to R 720 000.00 CPT

One of our clients is looking for a Senior Accountant / Finance Operations Lead to take ownership of the companys financial operations inventory accounting reconciliations and management reporting in a dynamic fast-paced retail environment.

Own and maintain the integrity of the Xero general ledger
Reconcile banks Yoco and payment platforms
Manage inventory accounting between Cin7 and Xero
Oversee stock movements landed costs and cost of sales
Reconcile Shopify Cin7 and payment platform sales
Manage debtors creditors and supplier reconciliations
Prepare supplier payment schedules and cash flow forecasts
Deliver monthly management accounts and financial reporting
Produce inventory ageing gross margin and stock analysis reports
Ensure VAT payroll taxes and statutory compliance
Strengthen financial controls and resolve discrepancies
Bcom Accounting Qualification
SAICA or SAIPA Articles (or equivalent practical experience)
10 years accounting experience
5 years in a Senior Accountant or Financial Accountant role
Strong hands-on Xero experience (essential)
Experience with Cin7 or similar inventory management systems
Experience reconciling Yoco PayFast Peach Payments or similar platforms
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables XLOOKUP SUMIFS reconciliations)
Retail Wholesale or Inventory-based industry experience
Strong knowledge of VAT payroll taxes and South African accounting standards
