Semi-Skilled Artisan

Qualification/Experience:
At least 10 years proven experience in the manufacturing industry and General Engineering environment.

Skills and Experience:
Fabrication Experience
Centre Lathe and Milling Machine experience
Mig and Tig Welding experience
Fitting experience

Measuring and Cutting materials to specifications.

Welding materials using the correct equipment to join the materials together.

Ensuring that the workshop is run smoothly and to keep everyone safe.

Repairing cracked or broken metal work

Checking the finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerance marked on the blueprint.

Maintenance support

Able to plan ahead

Manage time

Able to prioritize

Performing equipment checks and basic maintenance

Following written instructions and keeping records

Adhering to health and safety regulations
