The school is looking for a Secondary Cover Supervisor who:

• Has previous school-based experience ideally as a Cover Supervisor Teaching Assistant Learning Support Assistant or similar
• Alternatively is a graduate with a genuine interest in developing a career in education
• Is confident managing a classroom and maintaining high expectations of behaviour
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Can deliver pre-planned lessons and keep students engaged in learning
• Is resilient organised and adaptable
• Builds positive relationships with students and staff

As a Secondary Cover Supervisor you will supervise classes in the absence of the usual teacher deliver pre-prepared work and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning. You will work across different subjects and year groups providing valuable support to the wider teaching team.
