Were seeking a strategic Senior SAP Authorisation Consultant with 5 10 years of SAP Authorisation experience and proven expertise in role design user administration and Segregation of Duties with strong analyst and problem resolution skills

The ideal candidate has hands-on understanding of SAP Authorization in all modules SAP S/4 HANA Fiori Launchpad and Administration (Spaces & Pages) and strong SAP Trace analysis and problem resolution including SAP Gateway error log

Demonstrable experience in at least 3 full project implementations transport creation with CALM and designing governance compliant secure role design and user provisioning is essential

Strong Agile and DevOps mindset with ability to work independently enforce SAP security and development guidelines and support global Group managed system landscapes is critical

Lead and manage SAP security and authorisations support for new project releases ensuring prompt resolution of security and authorisations incidents and compliance to internal controls

Become the Senior SAP Authorisation Consultant guiding mission-critical Finance & Controlling roles & authorizations where your functional vision will improve existing systems manage complex SoD conflicts and deliver transformational value across MDBB TBB SRM Coupa Connected Procurement and other landscapes

POSITION: Contract: 01 August 2026 to 31 December 2028

Qualifications and Experience

• SAP Experience (5 10 Years) K3/4 (Authorisation specific)
• SAP Authorization in all modules. (Strongest focus on FICO)
• Strong experience in Applications Operations
• MS Excel (Strong Formula knowledge)
• Good understanding of system landscape to design adequate and governance compliant to secure role design and user provisioning
• Proven experience roles design and support within a SAP environment
• At least 3 full project implementations

Essential Skills Requirements

SAP Functional:

• Min 5 10 years experience SAP Authorisation experience
• SAP Authorization in all modules
• SAP S/4 Hana Fiori: Fiori Launchpad and Administration (Spaces & Pages)
• Strong SAP Trace analysis and problem resolution. (SAP Gateway error log)
• Good understanding of system landscape to design adequate and governance compliant to secure role design and user provisioning
• Proven experience roles design and support within a SAP environment
• Transport creation with CALM
• Basic knowledge in understanding OData and services
• Experience in all SAP role concepts
• In-depth understanding of SAP security concepts including Role Design User Administration and Segregation of Duties (SoD)
• Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model AWM Charter

Agile and DevOps:

• Execution according to the Agile Methodology and attending of all team meetings including Stand-ups Sprint Review Sprint Retrospectives Sprint Planning meetings etc
• Daily use of the Agile Tool Chain as per the updates required by the respective feature team or teams
• JIRA/Confluence knowledge advantage (Agile)
• ITSM change ticket creation

Stakeholder Management:

• Strong communications skills
• Liaise with development/team leads on users access requirements new transactions role creation etc
• Provide user support in understanding processes related to SAP Authorisation

Soft Skills:

• Strong analyst skills
• Ability to work independently
• Good problem-solving capabilities are necessary to investigate and propose alternate solutions for compliance conflicts
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Able to work under pressure
• Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project
• Willing and able to travel extensively for up to 2 weeks at a time (international)

Advantageous Skills Requirements

• Strong Basis authorization object knowledge
• Excel Macros & scripting skills
• Proficient in creating clear and detailed documentation

Role Requirements

Operations and Support:

• 2nd Line Support
• Technical Troubleshooting: Skilled in analysing and resolving SAP authorization issues efficiently
• Applications operations support for Authorisations
• Providing 1st level support to users; adhering to documented processes
• Providing 2nd level support to processes where documented
• Monitoring logs for user queries
• Responsible for ensuring prompt resolution of security and authorisations incidents

Delivery and Configuration:

• Role Build (Role changes/new roles)
• Delivering security and authorisations support for new project releases
• Enforce SAP security and SAP development guidelines
• Specify new products processes standards based on organization strategy or set short- to mid-term operational plans
• The requests are often unclear and will need substantial investigation to ensure that the specifics are well understood by all parties

Continuous Improvement:

• Improve a product or a system that already exists by making conceptual changes and enhancements
• Can manage the solution for complex problems that may require simple solutions but affect multiple systems

Documentation and Knowledge:

• Responsible for ensuring SAP security compliance to internal controls and good practice implementation in SAP authorisation policies to mitigate business risk
• Proficient in creating clear and detailed documentation
• Ensure Knowledge Transfer within team
• May need to lead individual members of a team of Entry and Advanced level experts
