Job Summary

The Sales Executive will be responsible for bringing in new business building strong client relationships preparing accurate quotes and ensuring that every confirmed event is handed over clearly to the internal team.


You will be the link between the clients vision and CCPPs technical delivery team making sure that clients feel heard supported and confident from the first conversation through to the final event.

In this role you will be expected to:

  • Work closely with the project technical and operations teams to ensure smooth event delivery.

  • Help clients create memorable high-quality event experiences.

Key Responsibilities


New Business Development

  • Identify and approach new potential clients through calls emails LinkedIn referrals and networking.
  • Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Attend client meetings site visits and venue walkthroughs.
  • Qualify opportunities by understanding the clients needs budget timelines and decision-making process.
  • Represent CCPP Group at industry events and networking opportunities.

Client Briefing and Quoting

  • Take detailed client briefs and ask the right questions to fully understand the event requirements.
  • Prepare clear and accurate quotes aligned to the clients needs.
  • Work with technical and operational teams to ensure quotes are realistic profitable and deliverable.
  • Follow up on quotes and manage the process until the opportunity is won or declined.

Sales Conversion and Relationship Management

  • Negotiate professionally while protecting profitability.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients before during and after each event.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell CCPPs services.
  • Follow up after events to gather feedback and encourage repeat business.
  • Handle client concerns quickly and professionally.

Project Handover and Internal Collaboration

  • Ensure confirmed events are properly handed over to Project Managers Technical Heads and Operations.
  • Keep internal teams informed about client expectations timelines technical needs and event details.
  • Stay involved where needed to ensure the client experience remains positive.
  • Support smooth communication between the client and the internal delivery team.

Administration and Reporting

  • Keep CRM and project records updated.
  • Track leads quotes follow-ups and confirmed work.
  • Submit regular sales updates and pipeline reports.
  • Ensure job cards client information and project details are accurate and complete.
  • Support invoicing deposits and payment follow-up where required.

Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12).
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience in events technical production AV staging or a related services business.
  • Experience using CRM systems Flex or similar event/project software.
  • Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport.
  • Proven experience in prospecting building client relationships and closing sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication quotes briefs and emails are crisp and unambiguous.
  • Confidence working with targets quotes and margins.

Advantageous

Diploma or Degree in Sales Marketing Business Events or Hospitality.
