Job Summary

Our client a well-established company within the timber manufacturing industry is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Administration Clerk to join their team.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the sales function ensuring accurate order processing customer service and efficient coordination of sales-related activities.

Minimum Requirements
  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent.

  • Business-related tertiary qualification accounting background or sales-related experience will be advantageous.

  • Previous sales administration or office administration experience will be beneficial.

  • Proficient in MS Office particularly Excel and Outlook.

  • Strong English communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Good understanding of customer service principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capture and reconcile sales orders and dispatches.

  • Maintain accurate sales-related records filing and documentation.

  • Follow up on customer orders deliveries and queries.

  • Assist with resolving credit note invoice and delivery-related queries.

  • Compile and maintain accurate sales and administration reports.

  • Develop a sound knowledge of the companys product range ordering processes and customer database.

  • Provide professional and efficient customer service.

  • Maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with customers.

  • Provide production administration support when required.

  • Ensure all duties are performed in accordance with company procedures and policies.
