Rock Engineer Hard Rock Mining

Our client a hard rockmining operation based on the West Rand side of Gauteng is seeking anexperiencedRock Engineer to take responsibilityforrock engineering and strata control across the operation - keeping people safe and production this role the candidate will be required to manage strata control support design and ground condition assessments as well as conduct rock mechanic analysis seismic monitorig and risk assessments. The candidate will also ensure compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA)and industry standards they will be required to partner with Mine planning geology and production teams on mine layouts and provide technical leadership and mentoring to the rock engineering team. The suitable candidate is reuqired to have at least 6 years experience in Rock Engineering Strata control and Design a degree in Mining Engineering as well as a Government Certificate of Competency in Rock Engineering.
